IT’S ALL FAROESE TO ME
And this is Cedric and I in Barcelona being influencers
This is another poem from the workshop I did yesterday with Jayne Marshall. It’s an imaginary translation of a Faroese poem! I loved doing this!
Mondays,
I speed towards karma,
Moving impishly –
Candy minded.
I slowly syringe
Your syrub,
My small toes
All twitchy.
We’re
So cool, so cool!
Has gluttony come over us,
Sugar up to our eyeballs?
Are we still here?
I can’t hear myself think,
My blood gushing wildly,
Lust lost in my mouth
Over your cinnamon breath.
Thank you,
Sweetie-pie,
Come quickly
As tomorrow morning
A feast of tuna awaits us.
We’ll spend money on chewing gum,
Sleep all day.
