THE SHAPE OF HEALING

Baby rabbits frolic beneath the willow tree,

Yellow irises pose by the pond,

Blackbirds attend choir practice,

Golfers swing and swear,

Little dogs laugh next door.

The sun heals my belly,

As, slowly, gratefully, I go native.
